Head of the Medical Image Computing Laboratory (MICLab), I am an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNICAMP in Campinas, Brazil. We actively research the Human Brain, taking medical image processing and analysis to the next level.
Besides the University’s curriculum, I also teach Image Processing and Deep Learning courses for the community outside the Academic World.
Since 2012, I’m also involved in programming workshops for children and adolescents, proud of having a major role in bridging the gender gap in STEM fields.
