I am a researcher fellow at the Proaction Lab at the University of Coimbra, specializing in developing and applying innovative medical image processing methods to study cognition. My primary research focuses on utilizing neural adaptation to explore brain processing in object recognition and understanding the impact of aging on cognitive decline using machine learning techniques. I obtained my degree in Medical Physics from USP – Ribeirão Preto, where I also pursued my master’s and doctoral degrees. Previously, I served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Brain Institute of UFRN and as an Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Neurosciences – ELS/ISD.
